Talking about Love...

Not so long ago, me and one of my colleague went to "makan" at the mamak that near our office.

She has joined the project that I'm doing before, and the company changed her to another project. Therefore when we met each other, we were chatting non-stop and asking each other how was the work and stuff. Dont know how, we started to gossip about every colleague in the office.

According to her, she realized that in our office, there are actually a lot of "curly fries"... Many of them are couples in the office, the curly one. And a lot of them made me feel a little surprise. I never realized about it at all even though I see them quite often. Besides, there is also a couple which the women is at least 10 years older and the guy is maybe 23 years old, and they are in love madly.

In our office, Love is regardless about gender, age and race.

Besides the couples, everybody is also very close to each other like a family, siblings. Everybody treat each other everyone genuinely. Work together happily, joking around and doing crazy things together.

I can see that the office is their second house. Most of them have nobody but just the friends in the office. They spend most of the time in this place and this is big part of their life. So, they are seeking for Love and the Warmness from this office. 

Even though I am still not close with everybody, but I strongly feel that this is the right place for them, as the office is filled with Love.

Everybody is In Love, no matter what kind of Love it is. :)

Woooo~~~~

WOops„ I dropped into a pool with colourful liquid, trying to swim„ I can float easily without using much strength~ Still swimming, I had myself faced the orange sky with very very white clouds. The left hand part of the sky is orange in colour, very very orange colour, and it slowly fades into pale orange to the right~

I stare at the sky, smile.

What a beautiful scene. The colourful birds are flying pass, playing with each other. Little butterflies fly around. One of it stopped on my knees and fly away before I manage to touch it.

And OUCH!

Something hit my head!! I turned around trying to figure it out and the floating black stuff hit my face. I sink into the water, still able to breathe and my eyes manage to open. 

OMG.

So many black alphabets and symbols are inside the water!! AND I RECOGNIZED THEM!!!

ISH!!!! THEY ARE THE HTML CODES!!!!! GRRRRRRRR

Morning Glory

Today is holiday! I have spent half of my day at home with good food, nice cake, nice yakult and went out for dinner, ate nice pan mee, ba chang and gui leng gou. :)

I have also spent my time finished a nice movie--- Morning Glory.

It is about a young and hardworking girl producer--- Becky(Rachel McAdams). In the beginning of the show, she got fired from a company. But it was not a bad thing, after that she found a new job, work as executive producer. She get to meets a guy--- Adam (Patrick Wilson), they fall to each other. Besides, she get to meets an anchor---Mike Pomeroy (Harrison Ford). She admired him a lot and used to watch him on TV with her dad when she was young. After that, she realized that he is really opposite from what she expect--- he is actually a terrible, serious and selfish old man.

However, she have the strong passion, she does not give up. She try her best to run a TV program called " Daybreak", which is the lowest rated morning program. It is a news program. She able to make the program more creative. Instead of stand in front of the weather poster, she plans for the weather announcer to sit roller coaster, fly with helicopter to make weather announcement more interesting. Also, the women buy her idea, she is very sporting women. She announcing news with the hip hop dancing group and she also go to the ballet class with all the young kids at the new announcement time. They announce news in more entertaining way but not simply sit in the room and talking in a formal way like we usually watch on TV.

The biggest problem she has is to deal with is Mike Pomeroy. He has very strong pride and his arrogance makes him cannot accept all these "non-sense" and so he always stay cool. Even they try to surprise him with a welcome cake for him, he does not appreciate it.

This movie show us how is the girl producer work hard to improve the news program "Daybreak" rate and also she how she work with Mike Pomeroy to change his attitute in the end.

It is a good movie that is worth to watch. :)

 

Working as the producer's assitant...

It's has been a long time I didn't have chance to update blog. :)

In just the blink of an eye, I have started my practical training for 1 month plus. But it feels like already 3 months or longer. 

In the past 1 month, I have been used to start most of my day at 430am in the morning and end it at earliest 11am or latest 2am. It's actually a good things that I spent a day time at least 18 hours out of 24 hours a day. 

In this month, I have learned a lot. I am having fun everyday, I am enjoying every single day. The work I always have to do is find talents to find actor and actress. From here, I get to meet a lot of people and also make friends.

When we go on set, I make sure all the crews are happy, buy them good food, prepare coffee for them and make sure they are in the good mood. I am also helping the props department, set up a room, office... Just try to work the magic out. From a boring room, we decorate it become a nice editorial room, very stylist and fashionable. At the same time, make up artists also work out their magic, I always see them transform a very normal person to an outstanding and good looking person.

Sometimes, when there is not enough "keh leh feh" (Extra), then I will have chance to appear in the frame. I have acted few times like a guest in the restaurant, a friend of main character and my fingers always in the camera, pointing and make a circle on book, pretending that the finger is explaining something. It's quite fun experience.

I feel quite lucky that I have join a very fun production team. Before that, everybody have been telling me that work as production, I will get scold, I will get blame and all the negative things. But actually, everybody is really different from what I expect and totally opposite from the way they describe. Instead of the negative energy, everybody is funny, they like to joke around and always make me laugh, they never stress around but make the shooting time fun!

Of course sometimes I will get scold, because I know I am a quite terrible Intern. I am blur, I am not alert the things around me and I still do not understand a lot of things.

But, I will improve myself!

And the thing that I am fully in charge in is......

Da dang!

Movie Slate...

Basically, I have to run between 2 cameras and slate in every different scene.

Besides, write down all the details in every scenes for editor who is not following us for the shoot. Make sure he understand all the situations in the shooting time and make his job easier for the editing part. Note down whats the director required and is it a good take or NG.

At first I was running like mad, rushing like hell, stressful, but ...

I am getting better!!!

Title : Sempua , a.k.a 算盘
This is the teaser for my group.


This storyline is developed from a chinese calculation tool, Sempua. At first when we discuss about this story, one of my group member did not like it because of some realistic problems. Where should we get the actors since we need an uncle and a child, and we are just doing the first assignment, not professional at all.


But luckily, although we met some problem, everything still went smooth. =)
